Helping philanthropists discover new opportunities and helping ambitious leaders see new possibilities for their work.
Begin a conversationWhat if these people, ideas, and resources came together?
Some of the most promising opportunities in philanthropy begin with that simple question.
I’ve spent more than 25 years working across philanthropy, wealth advising, and social impact. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that extraordinary ideas and the resources to support them often exist in entirely different worlds.
I love finding the connections between them.
Sometimes that means helping a philanthropist discover an opportunity they never knew existed. Sometimes it means helping a leader see new possibilities for their organization. And sometimes it means recognizing what people could build together before they see it themselves.
Knowledge, relationships, and resources don’t always travel easily between institutions, communities, or areas of expertise.
I co-created P150 with the support of Schmidt Futures because I saw how much philanthropic decisions depended on who an advisor happened to know. Today, the community brings together more than 490 philanthropic advisors worldwide, collectively influencing over $200 billion in philanthropic capital annually, to share expertise, discover opportunities, and help generosity travel farther.
I’ve long championed Vibrant Data Labs and its potential to reveal funding flows, surface promising solutions, and help people see connections they might otherwise miss.
I was fortunate that a funder I advised recognized that potential early and backed the work, helping make the Climate Finance Tracker possible — and laying the groundwork for other mapping projects now helping funders discover and support solutions across fields.
What philanthropy can accomplish depends in part on what people are able to discover.
Helping funders clarify what they want to accomplish, explore giving strategies, and discover promising ideas, people, and opportunities beyond their existing networks.
Helping leaders think through their strategy, articulate what their work could make possible, identify potential partners, and assess where philanthropic support could advance their mission.
A focused consultation to explore a question, test an idea, or bring a fresh perspective to a decision.
A short, customized engagement to investigate an opportunity, identify relevant people and partners, and develop practical next steps.
An ongoing advisory relationship offering experienced counsel, creative thinking, and support as your work evolves.
A little about me

I’m Jody Giles, CPA, CFP®, CAP®, a philanthropy strategist, connector, and lifelong believer in the power of bringing people together.
Over more than 25 years, I’ve advised some of the wealthiest individuals and families in the world. My career spans Ernst & Young, Harris myCFO, and Catalyst Family Office, where I served as Director of Philanthropy. Since 2019, I’ve helped direct more than $1.1 billion in philanthropic capital.
I bring that experience, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking to every engagement.
Because sometimes the most valuable thing isn’t another plan. It’s seeing a possibility you didn’t know was there.
